ABOUT US

Digimagic Technologies has been established to empower educators with knowledge skills and attitude to build a generation
of Tech-Savvy Learners. This innovative project tackles the growing need for digital literacy in Kenyan schools. Our mission is
to equip teachers with the tools, skills, competencies and confidence to effectively deliver the KICD’s core computing
curriculum, nurturing a generation of tech-savvy learners.

OBJECTIVES​

Develop the capacity of school teachers to prepare them to deliver coding and related subjects as part of the computing curriculum set by KICD Nurture a problem-solving mindset by supporting teachers to develop practical content for hands-on learning Empower learners to confidently apply computational thinking skills to solve real-world problems and creatively express themselves through technology. Build sustainability into the teaching and learning of coding using EdTech and establish a community of practice

OUTCOMES​

Increased percentage of teachers confidently delivering coding and related subjects as measured by surveys, lesson observations, or self-reported skills. Teachers improved ability in creating and implementing practical activities that encourage students to approach problems with a problem-solving mindset. Learners demonstrate critical thinking, innovativeness and creativity in digital solutions to the real-world problems A thriving community of practice among teachers using EdTech tools to effectively teach and learn coding.
